Lead Screening

Lead Risk Assessment testing (usually with a physician's order and an appointment) Education to prevent lead exposure - how to reduce blood lead levels after exposure and referrals.



Lab Draws

Lab Draws require a physician's written or faxed order.  Some insurance can be billed.  Lab fees vary according to the test ordered.  Please call for pricing.

Blood Pressure Checks

Blood Pressure checks are done on a walk-in basis and are free.


Injections are given with a physician's written or faxed order.  Medication must be brought in with you.  Example:  B-12 injections.  Please call for pricing.

Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing and Treatment

STI's are serious, sometimes painful, and can cause a lot of serious damage. Some STI's infect only your sexual and reproductive organs but others (HIV, Hepatitis B, Syphilis) cause general body infections.  A few STD's cannot be cured but most STI's can be cured if you get treated.  

We offer confidential testing, follow-up and educational services.  Please call for an appointment.

Tuberculosis (TB)

TB skin testing is provided for a minimal charge.  Also, treatment for active and infectious TB is provided along with follow-up per physician's order.

Communicable Disease Surveillance

A communicable and/or infectious disease is an illness or infection that can be spread through the environment by people, animals, air, water, food, etc.  Communicable diseases are the leading cause of sickness and death worldwide and are the third leading cause of death in the United States.

Child Care Consultation and Training

We offer on-site or phone consultation to daycare providers regarding health and safety issues, health promotions for children in pre-school, head-start, or daycares, at their facilities upon the request by the providers.  Also training clock hours for the providers taking care of children.  These clock hours provided by the Health Department can only be acquired after regular working hours or on weekends.
